INGREDIENTS:
16 oz (450g) mushrooms (button mushrooms or cremini work well)
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1.5 tsp garlic powder)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried thyme (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the air fryer:
Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
Prepare the mushrooms:
Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. You can also gently rinse them, but be sure to dry them well afterward.
If the mushrooms are large, you can halve or quarter them to ensure they cook evenly. For smaller mushrooms, you can leave them whole.
Prepare the garlic butter mixture:
In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove.
Add the olive oil, minced garlic (or garlic powder), dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.
