
1. Classic Soft White Bread (Beginner-Friendly)
Ingredients:
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (not hot)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter (softened)
Instructions:
Step 1: Activate Yeast
Mix warm milk + sugar + yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Step 2: Make Dough
Add butter, salt, and flour gradually. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Step 3: Knead
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 4: First Rise
Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour (until doubled).
Step 5: Shape

Let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
